About Ms. Sullivan

Ms. Sullivan offer clients a unique blend of business savvy plus design experience. In her "first life," Ms. Sullivan gained significant management and business experience which enables her, as a designer, to focus serious attention to budgets, delivery time and functionality.

A native Washingtonian, Ms. Sullivan grew up in the construction industry. Her father owned a construction company in suburban Maryland, which is where she learned her business ethics: fairness, honesty and hard work.

Her interest in health care design emerged from her experience with her daughter Shannon, who, as an infant, was daily in and out of hospitals and doctor offices. Ms. Sullivan saw that little attention was paid to how the office design affected the patient and the patient’s family and how it adversely affected their sense of well-being.

Her background in psychology has led her to examine how office design impacts mood and can, when done well, create a healing environment.
